
He booked his place when finishing a fine third to Equiano and Borderlescott in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket three weeks ago.
"He was a horse we thought would be just a Saturday handicapper but he has now turned out to be a Group horse," said trainer Tom Dascombe.
"As long as we get a central draw and he can just pop out and stay close from the start, we will have a chance.
"If Blue Jack can win, it will certainly be the biggest win Michael has had since I have been at this yard."
