There’s no doubt this is a typically tough handicap and a horse like him is always vulnerable to improvers but I can assure you that he’s been in really good order at home and I’ve been very pleased with him the last two times I’ve worked him.
I’m the last to win on him, a seven furlong Listed contest at Redcar last October when he was rated 111 and now he’s down to 98.
And if there’s still some cut in the ground on the second day it will definitely be in his favour. I’d like to think we can at least make the frame"
