Main Aim Has Options

The options remain open for Main Aim ahead of the Sir Michael Stoute-trained four-year-old's assault on Ascot.

Main Aim caught the eye with victory in a Group Three race over seven furlongs at Haydock in which we backed him heavily.

And although he already holds an entry for the Golden Jubilee, the Queen Anne Stakes over a mile is also a distinct possibility.

"We haven't quite decided yet," said Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for owner Prince Khalid Abdullah.

"We are certainly looking at the Queen Anne, for which he'd have to be supplemented.

"Obviously we are going to have to make our minds up pretty soon but at the moment the main consideration is that or the Golden Jubilee.

"He certainly wasn't stopping at the end of seven furlongs last time and one thing the Oaks showed us was that Oasis Dream's can stay a mile-and-a-half!"
