Kite Wood was sent off favourite for the Doncaster Classic but had to concede defeat to his lesser-fancied stablemate, who scored by three-quarters of a length.
"It was great to see our horses come first and second in a Classic race. They are good, no problems," the trainer said. "We don't know what we will do with them. We will think about it, there is no final plan for them yet."
Poet's Voice and Al Zir are set to bid for the top two-year-old races this autumn after they were successful at the Leger Festival. The Darley Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket on October 17 looks the likely target for Poet's Voice following his smooth triumph in the Champagne Stakes.
Al Zir is also a possible for that Group One over seven furlongs, but instead he could return to Doncaster for the Racing Post Trophy over a mile on October 24. He also looked a bright prospect when following up his debut win at Newmarket by making all the running to beat his two rivals in a seven-furlong conditions race.
"Poet's Voice may go for the Dewhurst and he could stick to seven furlongs for his next race, but we will keep our options open for him," bin Suroor revealed.
"Al Zir could go for the Dewhurst or the Racing Post Trophy. He is coming on very well and he improved for his first run. I was hoping to see more horses in the race on Friday. He is still weak and will be better as a three-year-old. I like him a lot."
Godolphin are turning next to Delegator to give them further Group One glory in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot on September 26.
The 2000 Guineas runner-up made an impressive debut for the operation after switching from Brian Meehan's stable when winning the Celebration Mile at Goodwood last month.
"He goes for the QEII. He showed a good turn of foot at Goodwood and is in good form. We now have three top three-year-olds in the stable - Delegator, Kite Wood and Mastery," bin Suroor added.
