Rae Guest's Serious Attitude, winner of the Cheveley Park Stakes last year, returned to winning form in the Cuisine De France Summer Stakes at York.

Unplaced in the 1000 Guineas when it was felt she failed to stay a mile, the 7-2 chance could take high rank now she is back sprinting.

Karl Burke's 5-2 favourite Lesson In Humility, third in the Golden Jubilee, made most of the running but was worn down in the closing stages by Eddie Ahern.

Look Busy was a distant third with Swiss Diva fourth.

Guest said: "We always knew she was a good horse, but it's difficult coming back as a three-year-old sprinter taking on older horses.

"We gave her a break after the Guineas, so she should come on a lot for that.

"We'll keep her sprinting now. Eddie (Ahern) says she'll get seven furlongs, but she's probably best over a stiff six.

"We'll now look at the Prix Maurice de Gheest (at Deauville) in August. That's six and a half furlongs, so it looks about right.

"She's definitely improving."
