Thursday Preview...interesting entry!

Godolphin hopeful Copperbeech is set to make her first appearance in Britain on Thursday in Goodwood's Height Of Fashion Stakes.

Saeed bin Suroor's charge faces eight other fillies in the Listed event - which used to be known as the Lupe Stakes - ahead of a possible tilt at the Oaks.

The filly was trained last year in Sheikh Mohammed's colours by Andre Fabre in France.

She won her first two races before finishing third behind Proportional in the Group One Prix Marcel Boussac.

The runner-up that day was Elusive Wave, who recently took the French 1000 Guineas.

Other contenders declared for Thursday's race include Splashdown and Moneycantbuymelove, who have earned black type, while Faldav, Say No Now and Multiplication have already won this season.
Fantastic horse...worth a punt? Who knows but we`ll find out for you! Barry R
