Fallon For Catterick?

Officials at Catterick would be "delighted" if Kieren Fallon returns from his 18-month spell on the sidelines at the North Yorkshire venue.

The jockey is set to make his comeback from a worldwide ban for testing positive to a prohibited substance on September 4, with racing also taking place at Chepstow, Kempton and Lingfield on Friday week.

Catterick clerk of the course and general manager Fiona Needham said: "We'd be delighted if he came here as obviously there are a lot of people looking forward to him coming back and it would be a great boost for the racecourse."

She continued: "He's acknowledged as one of the best horsemen around so it could be potentially fantastic news. He's going to go where the rides are to be perfectly honest, but we would obviously be delighted if he came here. We'll have to keep our fingers crossed."
