I Like Long Lashes

Long Lashes could make her debut for Godolphin in the skybet.com Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.

The two-year-old filly, now trained by Saeed bin Suroor, is reported to have settled in well to her new surroundings after being bought out of Jessica Harrington's stable.

Long Lashes made a highly-promising start to her career when landing a the Listed Ballygallon Stud Stakes and Godolphin's racing manager Simon Crisford said: "She's a possible runner. We'll make a definite decision later in the week. She's done well since she came over from Ireland."

At the time of her purchase, the long-term objectives for the filly were said to be the UAE Guineas and UAE Oaks at Meydan in 2010.

Long Lashes was successful over six furlongs on her racecourse bow and the Sweet Solera is over an extra furlong.

The Group Three has attracted a quality entry of 15. Aidan O'Brien has put in both Devoted To You and Famous, while Henry Cecil is responsible for Albany Stakes third Chachamaidee.

Among the other entries are Richard Hannon's Blue Angel, John Dunlop's Clarietta and the Barry Hills-trained Sent From Heaven.
