Daraahem is on course to return to action in the totesport Ebor at York in two weeks' time.
The four-year-old has not been seen since winning the Chester Cup in May after which he suffered a setback.
Trainer Barry Hills's son and assistant, Charlie, said: "He's all right and he's cantering now. He's on course for York. There's still quite a while to go, but we're happy enough with him."
Meanwhile, plans are fluid for Investec Oaks third High Heeled, who was fifth in the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood on Saturday eight days after she won a Listed race at York.
"I thought she ran all right at Goodwood," Hills continued.
"She's in plenty of races to come but we haven't decided yet. She's had two very quick races, but I thought the winner (Midday) looked very impressive."
One horse who has now left the Hills yard is Caracciola, fourth to Schiaparelli in the Goodwood Cup.
The Hills team prepared the 12-year-old for last week's Group Two while his regular trainer Nicky Henderson serves a suspension preventing him from having entries for three months.
"He's gone now from the yard and has been turned out for a summer break," Hills concluded.
