Connections Of Vadamar To Discuss Plans

Connections of Vadamar will discuss plans for the colt following his decent performance in Saturday's Investec Derby.

Alain de Royer-Dupre's colt had been put in his place by Pour Moi in the Prix Greffulhe at Saint-Cloud a month ago and was once again left chasing his compatriot's shadow in the Epsom Classic, in which he finished seventh.

Georges Rimaud, racing manager for owner the Aga Khan, was far from disappointed with the performance, but is unsure where he will line up next.

"We were happy with the run. It is not easy for a horse going to a track like Epsom, but he ran to form," said Rimaud.

"He ran a good race and we will have to sit down with the owner and make a plan.

"He is in the Irish Derby, but at this stage, I would say that is unlikely. It is up to the owner and we will see."
