Sole Power Run Doubtful
Irish hope Sole Power may not line up in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot on Tuesday after rain fell overnight on Sunday, easing the ground to good to soft.
The Nunthorpe and Temple Stakes winner needs fast conditions and trainer Edward Lynam has warned his horse will not run if there is soft in the going description.
"It's not looking too good at the moment. He travelled over there last night but they've had a good bit of rain and it's now good to soft," said Lynam.
"There's only one King's Stand Stakes so we've gone over for it, but he won't run if the word soft is in the going description. I'm hopeful it might dry out if they had a dry 24-30 hours.
"We'd love to run but if the ground isn't genuinely good, we probably won't run."
